Description

About Sishijiushi Jinglou Donggong

49 Dynamic Meridian Qi Gong is the most complete and deep acting routine of all those in Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong. These are the original exercises devised by professor Zhang, and are considered by him to be the most important.

The 49 Movements sequence encourages the energy to circulate in the 12 principal meridians and the 8 “extraordinary” meridians, thus completely nourishing the energy circulation of the body.

It has a particularly beneficial action on:-
The Liver, Heart, Lungs, Kidneys, the immune system and circulation of blood
The movements are based on traditional Chinese medicine theory and apply the “Greater Energy Circulation”.

This method can be used by everyone in maintaining and reinforcing health. It is also indicated for people suffering from chronic diseases, weakened by, or following heavy infections, to support the return to good health and to increase the vital energy.

It should not however be practised at a time of acute crisis or in the event of intense weakening. If in doubt, do not hesitate has to seek medical advice.

The complete sequence is divided into four sections:-
1. Opening the meridians
2. Circulating energy
3. Guiding energy
4. Returning energy to the source

The practice of the 49 movements requires the concentration of the mind on the points and paths of meridians being used at the time of the movements. Indeed, it is this intention which makes the movements effective on the energy level and increases the results of the method.
